When a professional event planner becomes a bride, you know her wedding is going to be over-the-top gorgeous.

And of course, Stevie and Brannen’s garden wedding was beyond what I imagined. Market lights, palm trees, chiavari chairs, a chandelier above the dance floor (made by the bride herself) all set in the beautiful Florida Tech Botanical Gardens in Melbourne, Florida.

Stevie and Brannen's wedding happened to be on the coldest day of the year (a high of 56 degrees for the day) and long bridesmaid dresses hid warm leggings. :) Lattes served by Cosmic Cafe, soup with dinner and heat lamps were nice winter touches. Near the end of the evening warm Annie’s pretzels arrived as a welcome surprise for guests to take home.

The couple’s sense of humor was apparent from the start as a sweet flower girl in a tutu walked down the aisle with a “Last Chance to Run!” message for the groom right before he saw his bride. And a sign for guests as she walked during the wedding recessional: “They did it, time to party!” “Finally” was the simple glittery gold script on the top of their cake. And each guest received their own mini wedding cake designed by DA Cupcake.

The gardens do have bathroom limitations and this slightly less glamorous detail was provided by Royal Restrooms. I’m not exaggerating when I say these mobile potties are nicer than my bathroom at home. They were also heated… another nice perk that guests seemed to enjoy on the coldest day of the year.
